My poor little pen could hardly keep up with her thoughts, full of sparkle and wisdom and humour. And I think, there really is no end to the amazing diversity of dietetic talent that I have been allowed to witness.

The start of her dietetic thoughts began at the young age of 13. A short period in hospital introduced her to the existence of the profession, and that closed the doors to any other career choice. She did a dietetic course at the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University).

I particularly enjoyed my student placement at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds, as it allowed me insights into the various clinical specialities.
