Consultant Dietitian in Intestinal Rehabilitation

PENG Committee, leading Clinical Update course
Alison admits to oversharing. Could there possibly be a better start to an interview? And from the great start, things only got better. My poor little pen could hardly keep up with her thoughts, full of sparkle and wisdom and humour. And I think, there really is no end to the amazing diversity of dietetic talent that I have been allowed to witness.
The start of her dietetic thoughts began at the young age of 13. A short period in hospital introduced her to the existence of the profession, and that closed the doors to any other career choice. She did a dietetic course at the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University).
I particularly enjoyed my student placement at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds, as it allowed me insights into the various clinical specialities.
