Eating disorders expert dietitian
Author of Nutrition for Dance and Performance
Consultant to dance professionals

I first noticed Jasmine at a BDA London Branch meeting in the mid-1980s. Everyone noticed Jasmine. She was on the committee and someone who seemed teacher-like in a good way: in control, energetic and highly organised. We now meet in a pub and reminisce about the in-person branch meetings.

There were about three per year, attended by about 100. There do not appear to have been events in London for many years; a loss particularly for career-starter dietitians, with fewer opportunities to meet and mingle with the diversity of colleagues. Jasmine has just written a book, Nutrition for Dance and Performance, and I am keen to hear about her exceptional career.
